What is AnonymousProxies?
AnonymousProxies is a provider for anonymous proxies as the name suggests. Both HTTPs and Socks5 proxies are available. You can choose from residential and datacenter proxies. For the proxy, they also offer static as well as rotating options. Shadowsock too is available that works with Socks5 for added features.
All the proxies feature in-built DNS-leak and other protective measures which ensure there’s no DNS or IP leak.
The platform also offers a WireGuard VPN although that may not be its primary focus.
Let’s discuss its features in detail then.
28 countries and 100+ cities
With proxies, one of the primary aspects I pay attention to are the locations being offered. Anonymous proxies allows me to connect to 28+ countries, that’s more than what some VPNs offer!
For now, the available countries include:
- US
- UK
- Poland
- Netherlands
- Mexico
- Ireland
- Greece
- Austria
- Denmark
- Germany
- China
- Hong Kong
- Switzerland and others.
This goes on to establish the fact that whatever your purpose be, AnonymousProxies probably has a location for you.
Datacenter and Residential Proxies
AnonymousProxies offers both datacenter, as well as residential proxies.
For the everyday tasks datacenter proxies more than suffice. These are proxies sourced from datacenters setup for this specific purpose.
Because these are large server farms this translates into cheaper costs for you. On the downside, these proxies are shared. Meaning, other users may have created a negative history for the same IP address that you’re about to use. As a result, it’s possible that some datacenter proxies are blocked by some websites and platforms.
Residential proxies are proxies that are sourced from real homes and individual connections. Much fewer people have access to these IPs which means chances of these being detected or blocked by websites is much lower as well.
On the flip side, these are generally more expensive and comparatively slower than Datacenter proxies.
In other words, I prefer to use datacenter IPs when I’m load testing my website or scraping data. I use residential IPs when I’m accessing my social network or sneaker copping.
When it comes to residential IPs, AnonymousProxies lets you even choose the provider! This is a pretty unique filter that I haven’t seen often with other proxy providers out there.
Anyway, the available options include:
- Residential Verizon Business
- Residential AT&T
- And Residential Comcast
Static and Rotating proxies
I’m sure the names are pretty self-explanatory. You may either go for static proxies or rotating proxies. The static proxies give you 1 IP address that you use for each session. While it’s perfect for most jobs, there are times when you need more anonymity.
This is where rotating IPs come in handy. If you opt for these, your IP address is automatically changed for each session.
The rotating IPs basically give you access to unlimited IP addresses without you having to change them each session.
It offers rotating proxies for:
- Datacenters
- Mobile
- And Residential IPs.
Socksv5 and Shadowsock proxies
Along with the regular HTTPs and other proxies, AnonymousProxies also specialises in socks and Shadowsock proxies.
If a specific protocol isn’t your priority and you simply need a tunnel, Socks come in handy. In fact, they may even be comparatively faster than the regular HTTPs proxies.
And then there are the Shadowsocks. In case you need extreme penetration capabilities and wish to bypass most if not all internet censorship, these got you covered.
In simpler words, Shadowsocks are best known for their ability to avoid detection. I’m sure you can think of some pretty creative use-cases now, can’t you?
Wireguard VPN and Trojan Proxies
The platform also offers a VPN as mentioned earlier in this AnonymousProxies review. WireGuard VPN is one of the strongest yet fastest VPN protocols available in the industry today.
Do note that it doesn’t offer a VPN software but the IPs. You have to configure the VPN on your own.
Then there are the Trojan proxies. Probably the most anti-detection proxies ever. These are capable of bypassing even the strictest blocks and restrictions. I primarily use them when I’m browsing something in China or other such firewalls that may be too much for the everyday proxy to handle.
Basically if something is blocked and you need it unblocked, Trojan Proxies are your best friend.
Hand-pick your proxies individually
This is something that caught my attention. I’ve used a few proxy providers that offer packages such as 10 U.S proxies or 30 UK proxies and so on.
AnonymousProxies has no such packages. You can manually pick every single proxy you want to buy.
Not just the number of proxies but you can also choose the exact country, state and city for the proxies.
In case you’re short on time, there’s a “bulk add” feature. Simply enter the number of proxies you need and it’ll instantly add them from your selected country. It’s a small feature but these are what make one provider different from others.
AnonymousProxies support
Support is a major factor we look at when reviewing platforms. You’ll need support setting up proxies especially if you’re new to the whole thing, won’t you?
Well, keeping this AnonymousProxies review honest, I can say the support is a 7/10 in my experience.
So, there’s a live-chat you can use. The answers I received were pretty to-the-point and practically helpful. The response time was impressive as well (a few seconds, a minute at best).
The 3 points it lost in the review is purely because the live-chat isn’t 24X7. They only function during office hours. Hey, I get it, they’re human too. It’s just that 24X7 live-chat has become common industry-standard these days.
AnonymousProxies pricing plans
The features sure seem interesting but are they pocket-friendly? Well, that would depend on your pocket size but in my opinion the pricing is definitely rational!
For starters, you get to customise the plan according to your needs. There’s no “package” that you’re forced to subscribe to.
You get to choose the exact type of proxy you need as well as the billing cycle.
On top of that, once you’ve chosen what you want, the billing is also transparent. It’ll show you the base price, as well as discounts along with the final price.
The shared proxies are the cheapest, starting at about $1.00/month or $8.00 if you pay annually.
For most other products it’s about $2.00/month (or cheaper if you pay annually).
AnonymousProxies payment modes
The company lets you pay via a number of payment modes. While traditional options such as cards, PayPal and even Google Pay are available it also boasts anonymous modes such as Cryptocurrency.
You can “top up” your account like any other wallet and use the money at a later time.
AnonymousProxies refund policy
If we’re reviewing AnonymousProxies, we’d review all aspects of it, including the refund policy. For starters a refund policy does exist. Meaning, there is a chance of you getting your money back if you don’t like their services.
However, the money is refunded only in one of these two cases:
- The company didn’t deliver what you purchased.
- If the proxies aren’t doing what they should be doing.
Do note that there’s no refund if you simply “change your mind”.
FAQs about AnonymousProxies
I’m sure you may have a few questions about the platform by now. Allow me to answer a few of them
Q. Is AnonymousProxies safe and legal?
Yes. AnonymousProxies is safe as well as legal. Using proxies is legal nearly everywhere on the planet. They may be restricted at some places but these restrictions are exactly what proxies help you bypass.
Q. Is AnonymousProxies truly anonymous?
It’s anonymous in the sense that you can sign up using any e-mail ID you wish. These of course can be anonymous e-mail IDs. Secondly, if payments are made via Cryptocurrency they make you further untraceable.
Q. Is AnonymousProxies the same as a VPN?
No. A VPN is a full-fledged software with its own set of features. Proxies are similar to VPNs but not identical.
Q. Can I use free proxies?
Never do that. They aren’t only weak in terms of security, some free proxies may even log your activities or be honeytraps from law enforcement.
Conclusion: AnonymousProxies review
Time for my opinion then? So, when choosing a proxy there are a few things I look at. It’s mostly the IP pool, locations, pricing, customer support, security etc.
I’ve compared AnonymousProxies on all these fronts and the performance has been impressive throughout.
The only aspect I want them to improve is their support. But that isn’t a deal-breaker. Despite the lack of 24X7 live-chat, the live-chat exists and there’s even a knowledge base you look at.
All in all, I’d conclude this AnonymousProxies review by rating the company a 4/5. Go on then, give it a try. That’s the best review you can get, isn’t it?
